The new threats come after the breakdown of the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran. United States launched a new strike on Iran earlier this week in response to Iranian government attacks on ships in the critical Strait of Hormuz waterway.
The US has given Iran until Saturday to stop its maritime attacks. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Oman for talks to mediate the conflict.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump he issued threats of his own, promising to “totally destroy and destroy all areas of Iran” in response to any attempt on his life.
