Levi’s, the famous 153-year-old denim brand, is going viral due to a shocking incident at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. FIFA rules forced to hide the Levi’s logo, which is part of the name and logo of the California stadium, before the World Cup match.
And now Levi’s is covering its logo on its Instagram profile, too.

Levi’s is getting into exposure and has covered its logo on its Instagram profile as well.

Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, hosted its first World Cup match between Switzerland and Qatar last Saturday. However, during the World Cup, it is not known as Levi Stadium. It is temporarily called “San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.” As part of FIFA’s requirements for stadiums to host matches for the 2026 World Cup, Levi had to cover the logo on the 68,000-capacity venue. FIFA is required any merchandise available at the stadiums will be covered if they are not official sponsors of the World Cup.
However, unlike 11 other NFL quarterbacks who were required to do the same, Levi got creative with his forced coverage.

Unlike, say, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which has banners over the MetLife logo, Levi’s instead draped a tight white canvas over its logo, which is still recognizable even though the name has not been obscured.
The brand also teased the move on Instagram Reel.
“Welcoming the world to the beautiful (re)furnished arena!” Levi’s said in Reel posted on their Instagram account on Sunday. The video shows the Levi’s Stadium logo covered using the viral TikTok sound, “No One Will Know.”
But Levi took it a step further, too. The company has now also digitally covered the Levi’s logo in its Instagram profile picture with a white canvas.
So for now, whether it’s on Instagram or at the World Cup stadium in Santa Clara, Levi’s will pass (revised), the famous brand of denim jeans that everyone knows.
