The seventh race weekend of the Formula 1 season is approaching, and you don’t want to miss it. After a great weekend in Monaco, the championship moves to Europe for the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
The championship will be held from June 12 to June 14 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Stadium. The track has hosted a Formula 1 event every year since 1991, and is being run under the name ‘Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix’ this year. The official name ‘Spanish Grand Prix’ moves to the brand new street circuit in Madrid, which starts for the first time in September this year.

The next race will be more special for Spanish heroes Carlos Sainz (Williams) and two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin). For the uninitiated, Alonso, who has one point so far this season, has admitted that his current Aston Martin contract expires at the end of the season, and he will decide on his Formula 1 future.
