MANILA, Philippines – The celebration of Maundy Thursday, April 2, begins with the annual Chrism Mass.
During this liturgical celebration, the holy oil used in baptism, confirmation, and other church rituals throughout the year is blessed. Priests also renew the vows they made during their ordination.
