The Hong Kong Football Festival is set to return to the city in the first week of August, with two English Premier League teams, Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as two Serie A teams, Inter Milan and Juventus, ready for matches at the Kai Tak Stadium.
Like was first reported by the South China Morning Post earlier this month, Manchester City and Inter will play the first of two legs at the 50,000-seat Kowloon Stadium on August 1, followed by Chelsea taking on Juventus at the same venue four days later.
Six tickets, ranging from HK$399 (US$50.96) to HK$2,999, will go on sale to the public on May 14, following an exclusive online pre-sale a day earlier.
Last year’s debut, which attracted a crowd of 99,679, saw AC Milan beat Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur beat rivals Arsenal.
