The man was arrested and remanded pending a bail hearing in court. In addition to assault with a weapon and forcible confinement, the charges against the man include: assault; to utter threats; dangerous driving; reckless use of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition; possession of weapons without permission; careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition; two counts of possessing a weapon or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order; and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
