The European Union disagrees on whether the Commission should allow Serbia to continue its membership process.
The issue will be discussed at the meeting of ambassadors of the European Union in Brussels today. Although the Commission argues that getting in front of prospective members is an important geopolitical tool that can prevent countries from turning to rival powers, some countries in the union are not convinced.
