Nike x Hyperice Air Zoom Hyperslide: Everything to know before the launch

TL;DR: Nike and Hyperice are launching the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a recovery slide that combines Nike’s Air Zoom cushioning with Hyperice Venom Go pods that provide warmth and vibration in 15-minute cycles. It will launch on September 29 at Nike and Hyperice online stores and select retailers worldwide.

Your post-practice the procedure is about to get a major upgrade.

Nike and Hyperice — the recovery brand behind the massage guns you’ve seen at the gym — are teaming up again. Meet the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide: a wearable recovery slide that combines Nike performance with Hyperice’s heat and vibration technology, designed to help your feet cool down after a workout, long run or just a long day on your feet.

It is the second product from the collaboration between Nike and Hyperice, following Hyperbootwhich was designed for warming up before performing.

Attached to the adjustable slide strap is a Hyperslide magnetic Pod that delivers targeted heat and vibration to the top of your foot. You get three temperature settings (up to 117 degrees Fahrenheit), three vibration settings, and 15-minute reset cycles. Battery life clocks in at under an hour, and the slide is TSA-compliant, so you can pack it for your next trip without a second thought.

Nike says the design was inspired by feedback from elite and everyday athletes alike, including Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, who put it simply: “Hyperice’s heat and vibration help my feet recover as quickly as possible, while the Nike Air Zoom cushioning makes them feel incredibly comfortable.” Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s senior director of athlete innovation, added that the goal was a slide that “initiates recovery as soon as you tighten it.”
