Olyslagers and Patterson in high jump finals; The diamond in the netball game against; Chalmers and Pallister swimming with O’Callaghan and Stubblety-Cook too.

Last day of swimming here in Glasgow. There’s nowhere near as many fans as a weekend game, but we’ve got a couple of tournaments going. Ten different events this morning for the warm-up period.

Will Petric is a strong medal contender in the men’s 400m and will be aiming to qualify well for tonight’s final. The same goes for Jenna Forrester in the 200m individual medley after yesterday’s win in the 400m IM.

Amazingly, Cam McEvoy (50m champion) and Kyle Chalmers are still in the 50m butterfly. Free time to spin for McEvoy, but Chalmers has a 100m final tonight. With Flynn Southam nipping at his heels, you wouldn’t begrudge Chalmers trying to conserve all his energy.

However, Chalmers is a gold medalist in the butterfly. The women’s 50m should be a walk in the park for Australia’s world champion Meg Harris, with Olympic gold and silver medalist Zac Stubblety-Cook competing in her preferred 200m breaststroke event.

Giddy up.
