The June 8 Mindanao earthquake has left only devastation and sadness for the students and teachers at Adelina T. Recto Elementary School in Glan, Sarangani.
SARANGANI, Philippines – The principal of Adelina T. Recto Elementary School, Gerlita Wata tells Rappler that the school does not have enough to resume and continue classes after the massive Mindanao earthquake destroyed all their classrooms in Glan, Sarangani, June 8.
While still performing his duties as principal, Wata worries about students and parents from his “new office,” an empty space in front of the now-condemned school building.
