The man tried to run away but his car was stopped by police in Longfields Drive, south of Cambrian Road, around 12:40 a.m. The man, who said he was infected with germs and fungus, had a knife that he repeatedly held to his neck and stomach. The police realized that the man was only a danger to himself, and put their guns away.
