“As your president, I will commit to practical solutions that will make people’s lives better,” he said in his speech. “Whether it is testifying at a parliamentary committee, at a reception or a restaurant, or even seeing them on the street, I will continue to focus on our priorities,” he said, referring to bringing issues to officials such as parliamentarians, ministers and senators whenever he can.
